| Good race. Started with warm up. Then introduction with the team. Then we went straight to the starting line. We still had 20ish minutes before the race so we jogged around a bit. Then we did some strides. Toed the line and the gun went off. We got out hard but not hard enough. It went out really fast so at the first turn we had to slow down but then got through and saw jamison just up infront on the other side. So I ran to catch up with him and decided to pass him and go so I was leading our team. I came through mile at 4:50 then we hit the some mud and a hill which slowed my next mile down and came through at 10:10. Then I kept that same pace because I came through the finish at 15:58. It was good cuz it was a hard course with the mud and this is the first race I feel like I'm starting to get my healthy body back. Shout out to talon garek and connor for qualifying for footlocker nationals!! |

| Ran in my Nike's from nationals. Felt decent. Shins hurt as well as back. Deja vu tag then on the ice then golf course. Also awkward realization that I got 19th to last at nationals while Josh had a killer race and ran first on our team and got 64th overall.

| Ran down to the pond and then back. Took a quite cold ice bath on accident... Ready for the break though. My back has gotten worse after nationals and my shins started up again so I'm ready for relaxation.

| First run after the break. Had an ericksen classic of getting a bloody nose but that's not all, I had a bloody nose from both sides. Felt great the first 3.5 miles but then after we stopped to wait for a couple people my body stopped going and my shins hurt then. But first 3.5 miles felt great. Feel like I'm in better shape then I was during xc season.
Afternoon. Played balencesto with some of our xc team plus Jacob Warner and Connor baller. It was a good time. Pretty hard core basketball.

| Solid run today. Ran through the snow and it went up past my knees for some parts. Didn't flat out run the other days but I did do some quality excercise. Some basketball plus other stuff. Got a pull up bar for christmas and I'm gonna start using that a lot. Also gonna get a good workout when we do our PG v Lehi V LP xc kids basketball game.

| Actually felt decent today even though we were going faster than usual. Started at legacy, ran to Lone peak, checked out the pond, then ran back on alpine highway. That got us to 6.6 then we went half way to the dumpster and back to get .5 more. avg. pace was 6:38. last .11 miles was at 4:35 pace kicking it in.

| Hurt today. Only went 3.25, gonna take a break from running, but while running would be happening I'm gonna do strength and core stuff. Trying to get healthy again but it is just not going my way.
