6x800 today. Felt fine on the first 3, 4th one my back tightened up but with the two minutes rest it calmed down. 5th felt great and then 6th my back tightened a bit but went fine. Hit 2:29, 2:23 2:24 2:26 2:22 and 2:15 for the last. Coach said we could speed up a little after 400 and then kick it in with 200 to go.

3.08 more at night,  Also got my back checked out, and the guy found that I had a rib that was messed up, as in it wouldn't expand when I breathed he worked on that and also my back.  So I should be ready for BYU

Almost 7 plus 4 100 meter strides.  My breathing felt really good so I'm excited to see what I can do tomorrow.  My back was a little sore but not the pain sore that it has been.

Quite happy with my race today! Went out making not to go out too hard but stuck within 10 meters of the leaders.  Just followed them til about 1.8 miles they put a gap on me but not too big.  Ran the last mile with Josh Peters of Davis breathing down my shoulder.  I was gaining on Grant but just didn't quite have it.  But a super good thing is my back wasn't pained, it was just sore!  

Shout out to everyone who killed their race. Special shout out to the one and only Ryan Raff who won the meet as well as Jaiden Melendrez who took second!

Did middle spring.  Ryan said it would be an easier day but didn't tell us the mileage so we didn't do the usual 9.  If he says 9 I'll run a couple more tonight.

Tough day today but good.  Woke up and felt terrible and went to xc class thinking it was a distance run.  Found out that it was a workout so did a 2 mile warmup.  Then we had 6x800 which was fun.  Hit 2:23, 2:22, 2:22, 2:21, 2:23 and then a 2:13 hitting 70 then 63 for that one.  Then coach told us he wanted us to do a 400 just a 65-70 second pace.  So we did that and hit 65.  Quite a solid workout.  Justin and I ran the whole thing side by side so we just went with each other which was nice.

Ran to the pole then to the pond.  Then did 2 games of tag as well as doing tramp run but a different loop then usual. 

Later reffed a soccer game and then had mutual which was sick cuz we did dutch oven iron chef and spikeball!  Excited cuz tomorrow I think I only have to go 4-5!

Well 4-5 miles didn't happen.  Then Ryan said we were going to go 7 and then when we got 3.5 out he said keep going til we hit 4.  Then we headed back and did some strides.  My legs felt heavy and slow but hopefully tomorrow they will feel better.

Good race today.  Wasn't feeling all that great earlier in the day but started feeling better.  Didn't wear spikes in my spikes cuz there was a ton of concrete.  Got out really good cuz no one else was paying attention that the race was starting.  Came through the mile at 4:56 (according to Michael Hinckley)  and I missed the sign that said mile one.  About 1.75 miles into the race I was getting really tired and thought that we must have just passed the mile mark but then I saw mile two right up ahead so I realized that I had a ton left so I was able to pass 7 people I think.  Wish I would have been more alert but happy with how it went.  After went to in n out with some of the guys and girls and then to a smores party.  Also in a lit group chat with Tyler and Ali who are deciding if Ellie or Amanda are #1 in my heart lol.  

Shout out to Josie Bushar cuz she said nice job to me!

Ugh, worst run in a while.  I have a cold so it was tough, and I thought it was a distance run so I didn't bring water or prep for a workout.  And on top of that my calves were super tight and heels hurt.  lol, quite the awful workout.  I'll be better soon though.

Felt pretty tired today.  Went up to Weber State for a visit, which was sick!  I loved the area and the team and coaches were really cool!  Went 4.3 with Camren Todd, Garrett Barton, and Travis Feeney but they all had a meet so that's all they went.  Then I went by myself 3.45 more plus did some strides.  My legs have been hurting a bit so it was annoying.

Pretty bad workout today.  It was windy and my body was not feeling good.  I did it alone because I was up at Weber State.  4 6 4 6 4 6 4 6 4.  Went 70, 1:45 70, 1:45, 66, 1:45, 67, 1:45, 69.  I couldn't breath and my legs felt bad and the wind so not fast at all.

Eh race today.  I PR'ed but felt like I should have done better.  Went out pretty hard with Casey, Patrick, and Mckay and Seth.  We broke from the group with Justin and Jack Landgraf from Dana Hills just a bit behind.  I was the first to fall from the group.  Then Seth did with about a mile left.  I chased seth the last mile and caught him on the track and passed him.  4th overall but on my cool down my back was hurting and it was affecting my breathing which isn't good.  Also after, had a sick day date where we played glow in the dark dodgeball and volleyball!  Super fun time.  Gonna have a good time at the dance as well!  And shout out to everyone who came to my house last night, and special shoutout to Gyler because... well because!

2 mile warmup then a painful workout.  It was hot and hard to breath.  Had 800, 600, 400, x2 plus 400,400,400.  times were 2:25, 1:42, 66, 2:21, 1:43 65, 64, 65, 65.  This workout was the closest I've ever been to passing out in a workout so that was exciting.

Also reffed a soccer game which I had to run up and down the field a lot so that was annoying.

Tough hot workout today.  (600, 400)*5.  Hit 1:42, 65, 1:42, 65, 1:42 66, 1:41, 66, 1:42, 62.  Didn't feel too good but not too bad either but I finished it hitting the times so it was good.  Also shout out to Crali. And to Courtney cuz she told everyone else that the varsity guys got the ice bath first today!

What a good time!  lol, Decided to try something different then go with AF, get dropped and finish behind them.  So Seth and I strategized to take it out hard... like 4:40 pace.  We ended up hitting 4:45, 12 seconds infront of the AF guys and Justin.  Then we kept the lead til about a mile and a half in and then Casey passed us.  I dropped from them but seth held on.  Then Seth dropped and I put a chase on him and passed him with about 1200 to go.  Then took it in, Patrick was coming back to me but he still was way infront of me.  But it was fun to try it out.  So shout out to Seth for doing it with me and all the spectators including coach courtney who were like what are those crazy guys doing, they are going out way too fast.  

Also thought it was a 3 mile but heard rumors it was 5k.  And casey's time makes more sense if it was a 5k.

Weird run today.  First 5 miles were pure torture and pain because of my heel/achilles which is swelling up and turning purple.  It has been hurting a little bit since murray but 2 days ago I couldn't even do strides cuz it hurt too bad and yesterday's race and cool down it was killing.  After 5 miles it finally warmed up into the run and hurt less so that was nice but then I was tired so it was still hard.  After had breakfast at Ellie's and Kenzie's so shout out to them!

Couldn't put on my launches because they were touching my heel too much so I had to wear my kinvara's.  Not a good workout, my achilles tendon bursa sac hurt like none other, but I guess it was slightly better then saturday, it was early in the morning, and just slow.  Also kind of mad cuz coach won't email out when we have workouts and yeah.  Overall not good.  Didn't even feel that tired just couldn't do anything.  (800, 400) x 5

Super happy with the workout today.  First time this week I have felt good!   12x400 @65 seconds with 60 or 90 seconds rest, alternating each one.  Achilles wasn't bothering me much after the first 2.  Went 66, then 10 in a row at 65, and then 63.  Then cooled down and watched the springville invite, shout out to all who raced it!
