am--6.25 An early morning run w/ neighbor Greg. He wanted to bust it the last 1.5, so we did. It felt pretty good. I'll call it a tempo mile.
pm--6.25 A run up and around the old Swiss Days course w/ an extension. It was one of those runs when I had my mind on other things. That's why running is so good for me. I'm able to work through things and reflect.

am--5.5 Went to meet up w/ Aussie but could never find him. It ended up being all right. Last night, someone called w/ a free number for the SC 5K, so I used it. Running under an assumed name, I wanted to get in a few MP miles. I wasn't excited about the run, but I ended up enjoying it. The course is an out-and-back on the old Swiss Days course.
pm--5.75 Barrel Roll Loop w/ Tom. He's turning into quite the runner. The run was great except for folks shooting guns in the general vicinity.

am--7 Moderate miles w/ neighbor Greg. Was finally a little chilly again.
pm--5.25 The body felt like it needed a slow recovery run, so that's what I gave it. Loved the run tonight.

| | pm--7 Ran easy around the barrio. I've been feeling really fatigued the last few days. Even woke up this morning to run, but the body just wasn't feeling it. I must need some nice recovery. |

am--6.25 A chilly run w/ neighbor Greg and Dennis into Sunbrook. Nice, easy pace. pm--6.25 Up around the old Swiss Days course w/ 2. 5 tempo miles--7:05ish--thrown in. It feels good to open up a little bit on a run. Right now, I'm intrigued w/ the idea of tempo and speed work when the body needs it. I'd like to get to know how to get a feel for this.

| | pm--7.25 Ran the Rock Writing Trail w/ Tom. Pretty good pace on the trail. We went from trail head to trail head, nearly 700' of elevation. Fun run. This week, on the other hand, found me fairly unmotivated. I don't know why. We'll see how next week goes. On a good note, ran some sockless miles in the 100s--pretty sweet shoes. Had a few rubs from seams, but the feet will get used to them. They're great for the trails. |

am--5 Easy around Green Valley w/ Dennis and neighbor Greg. The blisters hurt at first but then fade away.
pm--7.25 A good run up to the Canyons and back home. Perfect temps. The blisters were all right. The left leg has a little twinge.

am--6.25 Up to the Canyons and back. It was chilly out, but I wore a shell jacket. It was almost too much. Listened to some of The Dead and The Band. Good company.
pm--8 Got some new shoes to try out and was just feeling it. So 3 miles into the run I hit 2 MP miles--7:13 and 6:57. Jogged another mile and then threw in what was close to an HMP mile--6:43. The AP for the whole run was 7:38. Felt great to stretch the legs a bit.
