AP Psych test today so slept in a little then did three miles. It was probably the worst three miles ever. I felt so stiff for some reason it was the worst.

PM- 6.5. 6 distance then 100 200 100 at 14 28 14 with recovery the same distance.

AM- 3 miles.

Went to the doctor because I haven't been feeling great. I guess I'm only getting 58% of air and 80% is normal or something. Another antibiotic and inhaler :(

PM- 3.37 miles. Tried to do the 3x1200 workout. 6 300s 2 200s. It was tough. Didn't feel like I was getting enough air believe it or not.

I would just like to start off by saying I hate Brooke Pure Connects.

Okay. AM- 2.75 miles.

PM- 8 miles. 7.5 to Timp and then two strides. Wasn't that great of a run especially the last two miles. My shin is really hurting still so I'm going to get new shoes tonight I think. Planning on getting Kinvara 7s.

Shout out to Collin and Zack for being the greatest salesmen of all time and hooking me up with some Kinvara 7s!

AM- 2.87

PM- 6 miles with Brayjo then easy 1 hard 1 easy 2 hard 2 easy 1 hard 1 easy 4. Hit 14, 30, 14. The shoes made my shin hurt less so that was good.

I had a dream last night that someone or something was behind me and I can't remember much else of the dream but I guess it wasn't good because I ended up punching behind me super hard. I punched my head board on my bed and now I have a bloody knuckle. It is not pleasant.

AM- 3.1 miles to Lindon Park.

PM- 3 miles. My knee was hurting so just super easy to Lindon Park for the second time today. Shoutout to Zack for running a 9:07 today at BYU!

Mile warm up and cool down for the 800. Decided not to race the 1600. Took third in my heat but wanted to go faster.  I ran a 2:02.3 or something. PR on milesplit. Got a little windy for the 800 which was annoying but I guess after it was like a hurricane haha. Didn't do a recovery run because I had prom but I did mow the lawn haha

Raced the 800 and 4x400 at region. The 800 was not what I had hoped for. Started slower than I wanted and never really picked up the pace. 2:03.5. Really disappointed to not even get a PR or break 2:00. It's been frustrating with shin splints, having to have antibiotics twice in one season and getting patellar tendonitis. I have enjoyed running with the boys from my team as well as Lone Peak. Both are a good group of guys. After running that disapointing 800 I ran the third leg of the 4x400 which went well. Our team finished fourth qualifying for state and I split a 53 something. It would be cool if we made it out of prelims at state but we only have one real sprinter on our team so we'll see haha

Doing some sprint stuff this week for the 4x400. Riley and I did a mile warm up then .5 mile running with the other behind us using a resistance band thing. It was super tiring. 2 miles after then did some abs.

Two miles today. Intended on doing an easy shake out. First mile was 6:41 then the second mile was 6:15 so a little quicker than I had planned but it felt good. 4x400 tomorrow at state.

Nice little shakeout just over a 7 minute pace. Going to do a distance run tonight with my neighbor who is prepping for Ragnar. If anyone else is training right now let me know so I don't have to run alone.

PM- 6.1 miles. I rolled my ankle turning onto my street and got super scared because that ankle has issues but I iced a bunch and elevated.

The ankle is okay! I did 3.05 miles at a 6:50 pace just barely and it didn't hurt too bad. Huge relief.

Around 10.5 biking up on the Boneville Shore Line Trail. Definitely going to be doing that a lot. It's very enjoyable.

Another run with my neighbor. We decided to try and go for two CRs on Strava so we'll see if I got them. Both attempted CRs had some elevation gain and after biking today my legs felt pretty jelly like. 5.25 at about a 7:04. Ankle still isn't in too much pain so I'm very pleased with that.

Wow that was a bad run! 4.65 miles at a 6:53 pace. My legs felt dead and I was hungry and haven't been drinking enough. Hoping to bike or run later or both but we'll see how I'm feeling.

Today was rough. I was at the senior all nighter and got home after 3 am and then woke up after 11:00 this morning. I went to Chubby's for lunch then slept until around 5:00 when I went to Walmart to buy a banana. That was my dinner. Then I hammocked and ran around 9:00. My run was really good though 6 miles under 6:00 pace. So I figured out how to prep for fast runs and plan on doing this every day now!

Went to UVU with Jared and did some steeple practice. Also almost tripped going over the water one because my trailing foot hit the steeple. Got spooked from that haha.
