UVU Invite. The 1600 didn't go too well so that stunk. I ran the steeple chase which I was kind of scared/nervous for but it was a lot of fun. I took second in my heat and led most the race but Kedric Palmer ended up winning so props to him. I took 6th overall in the steeple chase. No one runs the steeple chase from PG so the record is only a 6:47 so I'm going to try to beat that on the 21st or something. I also ran the 800 in the medley. I was pretty tired and ran a 2:09. Some kid from Kearns took off to start so I went with him. He died after about 200 and I was going pretty fast so my splits were a 61 then 68 so that was real smooth. Haha anyways we won our heat by 6 seconds and were like 10 seconds off state qualifying. Fun meet overall besides the 1600, I need to figure out how to race that better. Headed to London tomorrow so hopefully my training doesn't get screwed up.

Ran the Reaper today. There weren't that many people at practice because it's spring break. The Reaper sucked. I ran a 10:03 haha. Did abs after and went to the chiropractor to get my shin scraped one last time. Leaving for Londond soon so I'm excited!

6 miles with Matt before we went to Dinseyland. In Disneyland we walked 16. MILES! It was crazy haha, lots of fun.

5 miles of distance with Matt then some 200s on the Mission Viejo HS track then .5 back to my uncle's. Flew back to Utah, drove straight to Herriman, warmed up, then had the meet cancelled.

Finally hit a day over 10 miles. I know it doesn't seem big but I'm really happy. I've been a little down because my mileage has been low and I've been racing slow so hitting more than 10 made me happy. 2.7 in the AM then in the PM everyone turned early on the run so the majority of it was alone. Kept a pretty decent pace for being up in the trails.

Let's see, 3.1 in the morning and then 5.1 with Brayjo to Discovery followed by some strides and an ice bath. Excited to run the steeple chase tomorrow and then head to Bull Dog for the 800. I'm also running the Ragnar I guess, took me a while to decide but I'm doing it with my neighbor who's team is supposed to be really good and I guess are trying to win. Not sure how I'll fit in there but he asked me to run haha.

2.5 in the AM.

Got to Provo High, chilled for a little then walked over to BYU for the steeple chase. Did a mile warm up and a couple hurdles and drained. The race didn't feel to race like because no one was there really. School record was 6:47 or something like that and Riley and I wanted to beat that. I ran a 6:41.03 Riley ran a 6:42.9. I felt like the hurdles really slowed me down unlike at UVU so that was strange. Finished 6th overall. Jogged back to Provo chilled for a long time then raced the 800. Not a great race, ran a 2:05 or 2:06.

10 miles with Brayjo. We had a 6:30 average I think and dropped a couple seconds under 6 for the last mile. I'm almost to 50 miles and so I think I might go run 2 or something right now.

PM- Remembered I had some Brooks Pure Connects that I used a while ago that were too big so I decided to run in those tonight. I think they have about 20 miles ish. Not sure how much I'll use them, not a huge fan. 2 easy miles just to get above 50 which I'm happy I finally have a week over 50 miles again.

AM- 3 easy.

PM- 6.25 miles. Mile warm up and cool down and 600s for the workout. Did abs and some pull ups after and now my arms are super tired. Good mileage for the day. I'm happy with the increase in mileage. Looked at some Boa shorts after practice with some of the guys and we want to get some of the cheap $10 ones for fun, but the problem is some of them think the shorts are too ugly haha.

AM- 2.5 miles. Did the short version of Apple Grove because we got a late start.

PM- 5 miles. Dual meet with AF today at PG. Wanted someone to pace me for 2:00 in the 800 but Casey, Patch and Mckay were racing the 3200. Did 1.5 mile warm up then raced about 5 minutes after finishing that so not really great pre race and that stuff. Ran a 58 then a 64, so need to get that last 200 down but I PRed, 2:02 and got the dub. One mile cool down then did two miles with Casey, Patch and Mckay after their race.

AM- 3 miles.

PM- 7 miles with LP and Brayjo. Most of the run was with Justin, Josh and Brayjo. It was extremely windy and it snowed for part of the run even though it was sunny so that was strange. Planning on 3 in the am tomorrow 5 in the pm and then Saturday I'll hit just over 50 with a recovery run after Tiger Trials where I'm racing the 1600 and 800.

AM- 3.1 miles. Went to Lindon Park, classic.

PM- 5.25. Brayjo and I headed out on the 1100 morning run a mile came back and tried to find Luke, the freshman, who we saw coming to the high school for practice but he left by the time we got back. Headed out on Lindon Loop but turned down to Locust a little early and had to finish on the track. Did a stride lap but only on the 100 but ran the hards backwards because it was so windy.

Alright so I ran the mile already today. I did a mile warm up and was in the second heat with my boys Josh and Seth and then about 1.5 million Pine View kids. Not sure on my splits really right now or even my final time. I think I tied my PR, 4:38, but for how I have been racing that's good. I know I could've raced faster but that's okay. Mile cool down, now I'm home and am heading back to the meet in not too long for the 800. I'm in Zack's heat, ready to show him what's up ;)

Super super windy 800 which was not pleasant to race in. 2:05. Mile warm up half mile cool down.

Headed to AF track to do a speed workout because there was lacrosse or something at PG high. Mile warm up then 12x300 at 4 minute pace until I couldn't hit pace then down to 200s then 100s. Did the first 6 300s on pace then the 7th was slow and my 200s were 33 then 31 then 33 so those didn't go too well but then hit 13 on the two 100s. Mile cool down. 1.8125 for the workout to be exact. Really good workout, I was happy with it since there was some wind in the first 100s on the 300s.
