First speed workout in forever and since I was out for a week I was wrecked. Only did 6 400s with a 200 easy after each. Mile warm up and cool down.

Good run today with Matt, Riley and Brayjo. We did 5 minutes at 7  minute pace then dropped the pace down for 2 and did that 4 times with 5 easy at the end.

Did a 6 mile loop with Matt then came back and did half a mile with some of the guys who did a speed workout. Abs after. The weather was so nice today I'm loving it.

Today I worked out with the new 800 coach. He's way cool but can only come once a week. Really excited for him to coach me though. 8 100s 3 200s and 2 400s with some warm up and then some plyos after #thelpway Good work today followed by abs and pull ups. Need to start doing morning runs again.

Wow! I am very sore today! The workout yesterday was tough.

AM- Finally did a morning run. Just 2 miles.

PM- 6 miles in the afternoon. 6:51 for the pace, nothing crazy since we're all tired. Riley, Jared, Matt, Eric and I drove two cars to Orem, then one back, then ran 6 miles to Orem and watched some of the PG soccer game then rode back in Jared's truck to PG. It was pretty fun and it was nice going that far out all the way to Orem rather than an out and back.

Mile warm up then 8 up hill 200s with a 600 after around the baseball field and by the tennis courts. Mile cool down then abs. I'm running the 1600 and maybe the 800 at Alpha on Saturday.

Easy 5 mile loop with some of the boys. I think it was Riley, Matt, Ali, Wade, Eric and Brayjo. There was a junior high track meet going on and we were going to stick around and watch the boys 1600 but then Wade said that since the girls had just started he didn't want to wait 30 minutes for it to end. Stretched, did a total of 6 pull ups and then took a refreshing ice bath.

Ran the 1600 and 800 at Alpha. 1600 was a 4:38 I think and then in the 800 I got a PR. Ran 2:04. I think I could've gone faster but I gapped everyone and raced alone the whole race. 11th overall in the 800 not sure about the 1600.

Today I got my shin scraped at the chiropractor because of shin splints. It hurt. A lot. I have to go in probably three more times. Speed work today. Mile warm up and then 5 easy 5 hard 4 3 2 1 then a hard 400 after the last 1. We went into the indoor track after the 3 hard becuase of lightning and also cooled down a mile inside. After that some of us went to UVU to try steeple chase which was interesting. It also really hurt landing because I had gotten scraped.

AM- I ran 2.5 miles this morning. My shin hurt a little but not too bad.

PM- I started to run and went out .25 then back because my shin was hurting so went home for a little to do a quick bike ride. I saw the AF guys on my bike ride. Went back to school to get my stuff and do some abs.

Tri meet at Riverton but Matt and I stayed to train. Harvey had us do 4 800s the first two 2:15 then two at 2:20 then 4 400s under 70 and 4 200s under 30. I struggled on three of the 800s but the rest of the workout went really well. 800 warm up and cool down. Decided to workout in my spikes for a change.

I did an 800 I think and a sprint then called it for the day because of pain and then went to the chiropractor to get scraped. Sick of hitting such low mileage. It's frustrating.

PM- 3 miles easy then 1 mile at 5:51 then another easy mile. 5 miles with the average pace at 6:50. My shin kind of hurt at the beginning then in the last mile.

Mile warm up and cool down today and the workout was 30 30s for 20 minutes. It was freezing and rainy so that wasn't fun. Did abs after. Got my shin scraped for the third time. It's doing a lot better so that's nice.

6 mile loop with Matt, Riley, Brian and Ali. It was so windy. The average pace was around 6:30 but miles 5 and 6 were both slower than that because we were running into the wind. Did some hill sprints after and abs and then went to UVU to feel the steeple chase out.

Mile warm up today. 8 400s with a 400 rest and then 1.25 cool down to hit 6. My 400s were slower than I wanted after the first two but that's okay. It was still a good workout. Did some pull ups after. I'll be running the 1600, steeple chase and possibly the 800 of the medley at UVU this Saturday.
