another bike day - to be on the safe side. did 10-11 miles. stopped my watch a couple times but it was a good workout I need to keep doing this. I really think the bike workouts help my fitness in a different way than my current short runs do. |

30 min bike ride at 1:30 to get the blood moving. I sit too much with my job. will try to do 4-6 miles running when Q goes to dance class at 5:30 6PM - 4 miles @ 7:15 ave pace - not sure what happened there... perhaps a little consistency is helping. maybe the bike ride earlier in the day helped too. anyway...

| another positive run - lots of hills in this one. I felt like I could push off both legs. It turns out that makes such a big difference. I was even was able to let loose a little on some of the downhills toward the end. The past couple of weeks I felt like I just needed to keep my left leg under me and not push too much with it. 6 @ 7:14 ave pace |

Had a pretty good 8 mile run. I went out trying to do a nice steady pace. Usually I crap out after the turnaround on this run, but I had a couple slightly faster on the way back. Hot and sunny - mid 80s Longest training run in a while - the slow half marathon excepted 8 @ 7:40ish pace
