Just got some really deep thoughts about running today and for the rest of the (school) year.

At footlocker I want to get under 18:29, which is what craik ran last year. And this doesn't have anything to do with beating him. I think this time would be a good challenge for me. Craik went on to run 4:41 and 10:18 while having a solid winter. If I can stay healthy and consistent throughout the winter I should be able to reach those times, if not beat them.

But it all starts now. I am fully healthy and I need to stop slacking off. I am going to hit 30 solid miles this week and build up from there. I am going to sign up for a local turkey trot soon so I can just see where I am at. I know I can have a good track season and I need to start building a good base for it now.

5 miles in the canyon. Ran by myself for most so that stunk, but was still a good run.once I got home I stretched, used my marshmallow stick, iced my knees and did a bit of core.

Track workout and I struggled. 400,800,400,800,400, then I had to leave cuz I had to be home at 4. A rough workout but will make sure to bounce back for the next one. Chilly out today.

Felt rather junky so I did 10 easy on the spin bike. Shoutout to me because I totally called where drew hunter is going to college, Oregon.

Accidentally slept in through practice so I drove up to lambert and did a bunch of sweet trails. On the way up spring I passed some bikers, which really motivated me to fast up so they couldn't catch me. Good first week back at it! I hit 30 even though i didn't run on Thursday.
