On Monday I was playing basketball and got kneed super hard in the groin. It's been hurting too much to run until today. Biked 15 each Monday and Tuesday. Started practice off with some basketball that actually got pretty competitive. Pole than 2 games of tag and back to the school. 100 pushups and 5 minutes of planks for core today. Haven't done much lately so I need to start that back up.

Workout today was 600,400,200. Played basketball before so I was tired from that. Only heard my splits from the last 2, 73 and 31. Not the greatest workout. Not racing at UVU which I'm bummed about. But only varsity and steven are racing. Which got me thinking. Besides the guys racing on Saturday, only Kaleb I think gets a spot before me. I'm pretty sure I can catch him, and pass him too, so I get to run at more invites. In the mile for instance, if I can keep him within 15 meters till the last 200 I know I can get him. Not in a cocky way, but confidence haha. This is actually a good thing not racing I think because I'm getting way motivated now.

Super awesome run this morning. I woke up at 5:45 and couldn't go back to sleep, so I went on my run at 6:15 haha. Drove to mouth of provo canyon and went up 5.5 miles then turned back. On the way up I just chilled, hitting around 7:15's. On the way down I was still feeling super good so I did a bit of a progression run. Splits on the way down were 6:55,6:21,6:14,5:58,5:47 and 5:08 pace the last .5. Really happy with this run and it's giving me confidence for my next few races.

Shoutout to Tyler for the 10 second PR and for breaking 5!
