Utah Valley Marathon 2013: PR 3:16:20, 1st division.

Running With the Bulls 5k 2011: 20:02, 1st place

Race For The Cure 10k, San Antonio 2013: 42:47, 2nd overall

Short-Term Running Goals:

Run a sub 3:20 @ Air Force Marathon 2015.

Sub 20 min 5k

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run a 3(ish) hour marathon before I am 40.

5 miles in the afternoon.  Felt like I had sandbags around my ankles.  This is not a good marathon sign.  I figured it had to do with the fact that I was running with my kneed taped from PT and the work I had done on my legs the previous day at PT.

Went back to PT.

Massage. 

My legs feel a lot better and the knee pain is gone.  I will continue to keep working my legs on the foam roller.

That's great that your knee pain is gone. You'll be ready to fly down the course on Saturday!

I felt the same on Tuesday. I wonder what it is? Nerves? I feel like I'm doing the right thing, but we never really know until we hit the finish Saturday, right?

I'm glad you're getting some good PT time in and they have you taped up and ready to go!!!
