I am taking a big fat "0" miles for the day.  This is unlike me, but I wanted to give my foot a little rest.  I went to a "Wellness Center" today.  They specialize in chiropractic care.  The main reason I went there is because they use a technique called "Graston Technique."  It is where they use stainless steal instruments to massage the tightness in the fascia ligaments.  I really am interested, but they made me go through a series of tests.  They told me my entire left side is weak, which I agree.  But they did not help me one bit with the problem with my foot.  I almost felt that this doctor was just trying to sale me on his clinic.  He kept asking me silly questions like, "You are 26?  Why aren't you married?"  And "You look like you lack energy, we have just the thing for you!"

I want to cure my plantar, but I really need to aleviate pain before I take 5 weeks to try and figure out how and why I am holding my posture incorrectly.  I am just frustrated with the whole thing.  Yes, I know that the plantar is caused by something else that is occuring in my running form.... But why couldn't he have just helped me with the pain?

Anyone with advice.... PLEASE GIVE IT!!

I completely agree with you. Go to a PT for the pain and stretching/scraping/strengthening of the PF for 6 weeks, THEN go back to the wellness center and take care of the alignment. I'd do the clinic after getting the foot taken care of. They'll really just try to sell you on all of their holistic healing stuff (which ISN'T bad, just not what you need for that particular thing right now).
