Pain is still there in the left femur area.  I am going to a specialist today to check out what might be the problem.  I just want this thing to heal, and I am going to live to what the doc tells me to do by the "T."

1 hour spinning

20 minutes on elliptical

I'm ready to be back out and running.  I feel like a fatty!

I went back to the gym for an hour spin class!  Lovin' the spin.

Smart girl to not run! GOOD girl to follow the doc's order! GREAT xtraining workout. You're NOT a fatty!!! Heal! Heal! Heal! You'll be running before you know it. I want to run too; but the ITB says otherwise. Trying to decide whether to DNS for Ogden. Hope the doctor has good news and solutions for you. Keep us posted.

Ughh, I know how you feel! Our brains are bad, bad things. We don't run for short periods and we feel huge! I actually have gained 10 pounds though since the start of my injury. You'll be fine though because your doing great cross training.

Michelle,

I hate injuries. But it is a great time to know there are other things I can do besides run. Sometimes it's really hard to keep a good prospective on Xtraining and keeping the fitness level that we are used to.

I'm so glad you're going to see someone...you'll have to let us know the news!! I know how you feel about not running and I completely agree, tapers feel the same way! I'm glad you're not running though, and your x-training is AMAZING!! Keep up the cardio and you'll be good.
