I went BaNdIdO today at a local race.  I wanted to get some decent miles in and figured I could do so with other runners.  First year for this race and they had a great turn out.  I have no clue where I would have finished.  Top 10 ladies maybe?  I don't know.

Comparing this race to last week I felt a lot better.  Sleeping throughout the week makes a big difference in the way I feel when I run.  At the end of the race I still had energy unlike last week.  Race speed is still not where I would like it to be, but that will come.

This course was also a lot more difficult than the SLC half in my opinion.  A lot of steep inclines up and down the golf course and switch backs through the gardens.  Beautiful run and I might consider racing it next year.  I also ran with Melanie B until mile 8.  I lost her there due to stopping at the POPs.

Went to the LC for a 1 mile swim.

Nice work! I really wanted to run this one, but with a later start and needing to be home, I had to improvise :(

You really did a GREAT job! It is a tougher course than SLC. Your speed is really good - I know it's slow for you, but it's good for the rest of of us. You are doing great with your recovery and working SO hard all the time.

Bec-- I was there too. Good run. I ran to the JRP (6.5 mile mark) crossover then turned left by the police barricade to get back before the lead ladies. I clocked out at my work at 6:30am. Can't say I felt like I was really there ever but I did get to run MelanieB in. She ran VERY well. 5th overall I believe. I was on for 1:39- 1:40 too. We must have seen each other? I just couldn't take the disconnected feeling and thought it more fun to see the speedy finishers. BTW THE COURSE WAS DIFFICULT THE FIRST 6 miles. CRAZY rolling steep grades!!!

Selling bibs, banditing races... BEC! You are just a bad runner girl! Bad, bad, bad. :)

Nice "race" by the way...

Why am I not surprised when Ms. Cunningham told me you ran this and here I found out you bandit it. C'mon, they're trying to raise money for the poor children's museum! :D Yep, you should race it next year...heard there's prize money!

You are a beast creature from the east.
