| Worked, then in charge of enrichment at church tonight. No workout today. Should've gotten up early and got 'er done, but not gonna beat myself up about it. Enrichment went great. Had a service auction/ bbq dinner and the ladies had lots of fun out bidding eachother. |

10:04 pace
I feel so good that I ran today! I feel a bit more inspired now. I have Bryce 1/2 in less than 2 weeks. I'm NOWHERE near ready, but I decided I'll treat it as a scenic training run. The under 1:50 is most likely NOT going to happen, and that's OK. I've been going through a period of adjustment with the new job and I feel that things are getting better week by week. This week I've worked out 2x and looks like I'll get in another 2x before the week's over. That's a foundation I can build from... just need to work in more & more workouts every week and extend the miles.

| 5 with Heather this morning. Nice easy, chatty run. Foot was a bit stiff, but not too bad. I'm so tired all day after waking up at 5:00 am to run the past 2 days. How do you all do it day after day?! |

7 fun miles w/ Sole Sistas (Buff, Theresa, Stephanie, Heather, Chris & Nephi) It was a great time and we took is slow & easy enough that my foot doesn't even hurt! (hopefully it won't start hurting later in the day like it has in the past) 10 min. mile average. Finding it hard to get back to 9 min & under, but confident that it will come back after a few good runs.
No big plans for the weekend, just a BBQ with friends this afternoon. Looking forward to R & R! |
