| | Today was rough. Did VA loop, but with quite a bit of stopping/walking. Got down to 7:30 pace for a bit! That's the fastest I've gone in a loooong time. Averaged 8:29. Adjusting to altitude, losing weight and getting in shape will be more difficult than I thought. |

| | Hard time breathing but effort was good. That's what I'm going to start going off of because my body just can't go as fast as it used to. Kind of discouraging but I'll do what I can! 8:32 average with 6 stops, hoping to be able to run through without stopping here in the next couple weeks. |

| | Good 2.5 run with Clara. Felt better than yesterday! Got a nosebleed towards the end, probably from the dry air. Later felt my depression getting deeper so I went on another 2.5 mile run. Seemed to help a little. |

| | Took 1900 E to Sunnyside and up to the zoo and back the same way. Started at just over 9:00 pace and finished at just under 8:00 pace. 8:32 average. I'm worried that I'm not going to be in good enough shape by January to start training with the team. But then again I'm less than a week into getting back into shape. Any advice on the best way to get in shape? |

| | I'm allergic to something. Have hives everywhere and itch like crazy. It's painful to walk and I kind of limp to avoid putting my weight on areas that hurt, so thought it best not to run so I don't get tight from limping.

| | Yikes, another day of not running. I need to make running a bigger priority. Since deciding not to go back to SUU until the fall (many factors went into the decision, it's for the best) I've developed the awful attitude of "if I miss running today it's not going to be that big of a deal." I'm making it my goal to not miss a day of running for the next 3 weeks (excluding Sundays of course). |

On a brighter note, noticed that my pants were loose today so out of curiosity I hopped on the scale and realized I've lost 10 pounds! Was surprised actually because I've had more junk than food with nutritional value. Maybe I should be better about that... Core later. |
