Original plan was to go 9 this morning, but trying to break in the new shoes kind of changed the plan. The shoes are fine I just need some adjustment time to get used to them so I cut it back to 8 this morning. Good run, temps are pretty good for December it was about 37-38 this morning so I can't complain.

Splits: 9:54, 10:15, 9:35, 9:38, 9:07, 9:02, 8:53, 8:12, 1:02 (.12 Mile) |

Alright let the whining begin. I really, really, really didn't want to run this morning but I went anyway, not really a good run but I'm glad I went. Pretty good head wind this morning, I could feel it in my legs....Back to the whining. My time was pretty slow but I felt really tired and kind of like I was running in slow motion.
Time: 1:06:59 (9:27 Ave. Pace)
Splits: 10:23, 10:14, 9:48, 9:27, 9:02, 8:49, 8:27, 0:44 (.1 Mile) |

In Puerto Rico vacationing, we're going to spend the rest of the day at the beach in Fajardo called the Seven Seas beach. No snorkling at this beach but we had fun playing in the water. The ocean is pretty warm down here, warmer than the pool at the resort.
I could sure tell that I was running at sea level and I could also tell that I was running in 80 degree heat with humidity. I had to go jump in the pool after to cool off, how rough is that?
