Broke out some new shoes today, had some tightness in my calves but not too bad. Always something minor breaking in new shoes. Temps were good this morning around 45 but the wind was blowing again. Ran the Washington Terrace loop to help minimize the wind again. Good run this morning, got too warm in the last mile running with the wind had to take my gloves off and push my sleeves up.
I'm just really finished with the wind and snow, where's spring? I think we're paying for not having any snow in January and February. |

Great morning, although pretty cold. 27 degrees this morning but not a cloud in the sky. Still a lot of snow on the grass but the roads were clear this morning. Some icy patches but nothing to worry about.
Great run, felt pretty good today. First time I've felt really good since donating blood a couple of weeks ago. |

| | Another great morning, although still a little cool. 30 degrees this morning but no clouds and the only place I got some wind was at the top of Washington Terrace. Ran the Washington Terrace loop today, good run I felt pretty good again today. A little tired starting out but once I got warmed up after a mile or so it was good. |

Had to retire the Nike Pegasus, the shoe liner creased on my heel and it feels like I'm running on a twig or something. It's the 2nd pair of Nike shoes that the liner has creased on the heel. I had to retire the Brooks Defyance 2 because the heel cup wore through the liner and started rubbing just below my ankle. Shoe prices keep going up but it seems like quality is going down.
I wanted to go a bit further this morning but whatever it takes to run 6 or 7 miles I didn't have it this morning. Didn't start feeling ok until 4.5 - 5 miles in, just dragging a bit today. Glad I got out though. |

| | 2.5 miles easy this morning with my wife at the school track before our daughters soccer game. She had to be there early so we figured we'd go for a quick run. Good to run with my wife for a change. |
