| Baby boy made his appearance 10 days ago. He didnt mess around. My water broke at 12 pm and by 2:30, he was here. 7 lbs, 3 oz, 19 inches. We are already in love.
The last 10 days have been full of getting to know each other (and sleeping....or NOT sleeping). I felt good enough to run last Wednesday (did natural childbirth this time, recovery has been sooooo much better!) but held off until today. I did the whole run a minute, walk a minute thing. Made it 3.2 miles, average pace 12:00 min/mi. Speedy gonzalez eh? I am excited to get back into running but I know it will take time and patience to let my body finish healing. Would love any tips from others on getting back into running after pregnancy?

| One minute walking, two minutes running. AP 11:00 min/mi. My body felt great but I know I need to take it easy for a while. Trying to relax and go easy is sometimes hard, especially when I can breathe now! |

| Treadmill workout 1 mile warm up. Ladder. 1 min fast, 1 min easy, 2 fast, 2 easy, and so on up to 4 min, then back down again. Fast minutes were between 7.5 and 8 mph (8-7:30 min/mi), easy was 6 mph. .5 mile cool down Finished up the work out with a tabata sprint on the treadmill. (8.5 mph) Felt like I kicked my own trash. |
