| Tempo run. 2 mile warm up. 5 tempo miles 7:25, 7:21, 7:22, 7:08, 7:14 (AP 7:19). 1 mile cool down. The goal was to be at or under 7:21 min/mile. I wasn't certain I could do this but happy to see that I pulled it off. It was challenging but doable. Tempo miles were out and back between 114th and 94th along 1300 east.

| 1 mile warm up. 4x1 mile repeats with 1/2 mile recovery between each mile. Mile repeats were 6:43, 6:43, 6:41, 6:40. The goal was to be under 6:48 so i was surprised when I got home to see what the repeats were. I think it's cuz I did this in the dark and couldn't see my watch very well. |

| A few miles warm up. Then half mile repeats with 3 minutes recovery jog between each one. Unfortunately this had to be done on the treadmill and I forgot my headphones! Talk about mental training! Here are the repeats: 3:20, 3:19, 3:18, 3:18, 3:17, 3:16. It was doable but I was certainly ready to be done at the end. A few miles cool down.
