| Back to marathon training. 1st tempo run. Aaaand it was kinda painful. I 've had an emotionally and mentally exhausting week with no air conditioning since Monday morning. Lets blame it on that. Average pace for the tempo portion was 7:19.

Pleasantly surprised with how this turned out. I feel like I have gotten slow and sluggish since my marathon last month. I thought this workout would kill me but turns out, it didn't. I feel good about that.

| I had to front load my miles this week due to a family reunion. Every 4th mile I did a marathon paced mile (7:25). I liked this. It was a good way to mentally break up the run. Now its party time. |
