I wasthe first guy on the list to miss getting to plant drinks, so I was out on the course doing it last night.  It was chilly this morning, one of the colder St. Georges I remember.  Got on the bus about 5:00am.  When I got to the start I put on a space blaket and hunkered down with Dave, Logan, and Clyde until we had to start moving.  Greg found me at the start.  It was pretty cold at the stat and I wore sleeves and gloves and never took them off the entire race.  This one ended up being a tough one.  I think it was a little cold for me, and the last of miles and speed or racing because of the hamstringseemed to play a role too.

I seemed to get into rhythms at times, but reall fell off twice for a couple of miles.  I pretty much ran the same as I did at Utah Valley without cramping.  A lot of people seemed to have a good day, but for me it was a tough day.  My splits were a little off,my watch wasn't quite on the mile markers, it seemed to record about 20 seconds before.  My first mile was actually 6:12 and I was 37:00 through 10k, but this is close enogh to post.  Ended up mostly running by myself the entire race after 10k.  2:42:26 was the final time.  Clyde and Dave were in the chute waiting like usual, so I waited for some people with them for a while.  I was dissapointed that I couldn't run as fast as last year.  My half was 20 seconds faster last year, but the total run was 2:25 slower than last year.  Ended up 6th in the age, so I did plaque.  The marathon was done well like usual.  the 10 year dinner was great.  The weekend was nice.  A lot of my friends ran very well, so congrats to them.
