Ran from the campground in Goblin Valley with Dallin, Megan, and Ryan over to the parking lot at the Valley.  We took the Carmel Canyon trail down and then went right and around to the Goblin's Lair.  My friends and I found the Lair about 22 years ago.  We went down in the Lair for a bit and Ryan turned back, Megan came with us.  We went clear around the back until we could find a place to go up and over. After we came up and over the ridge we ran North until we dropped into Goblin Valley.  The problem was it was the 3rd section, and I didn't know there was a 3rd section.  We went up and over into the 2nd section, which I didn't know was there either.  Finally we were tired, thirsty, and the wind was blowing like crazy, so we dropped into the river bed and folled it for a while.  When we popped out we weren't far from the parking lot.  We finised the run back to camp, Megan made it 10 miles and Dallin and I finished it out for 10.5.  It took us a long time to do the run.  It would have been more fun at the end if we weren't so beat.  10:53 ave for the run around the entire Goblin Valley.

Hiked the entire Little Wild Horse and Bell Canyon loop after, which was another 9 mile hike.

Brooks Cascadia 7 Miles: 10.50
