PM run. Started out knowing course I wanted to run but hadn’t run it before so I didn’t know exactly how far it was. When I was close to the end I knew that I could make 10 miles by making one additional short loop in the neighborhood. I felt pretty good so I did it. 1:45:38 with 10:24 pace. I knew I was going farther so I tried to keep the pace as close to 10 min as possible. That only worked for a few miles. 9:54, 10:06, 10:46, 10:54, 10:27, 10:31, 10:08, 9:59, 10:28, and 10:37 with 1:48 to finish. This is the longest I have run since my last marathon almost 2 years ago. I was going to run a marathon in June with Tim but he is not planning to do that anymore because of an injury. I am not sure what my goal is except to keep my miles up higher than I had been keeping them. Since I upped my miles I have lost 7 lbs. |
