| | I did a speed workout at the track, I believe the same thing the team did yesterday. I was kind of sore, I think it is because I wore my orthodics on Thursday. I am not going to wear them again before region. I did a 2x800, 2x400, 5x200, and 5x100 with times about 5 seconds slower than my normal ones. |

| | I felt pretty darn good today. We did an easy workout, 4 400s w/90 second recovery, mine were 86's, and then a 200 at 35. |

One mile warmup, one mile speed changes. I started the race in 7 behind two girls from Murray. Then one of them dropped back, and on the third lap I passed the other one. I probably should have drafted her for a little longer because I could definately feel the wind coming around the next few times. She passed me in the last lap and outkicked me, but I was still in 6th so I'm going to state! I did a half mile cooldown with Susannah. |

Race For the Cure (3.16 Miles) 00:24:45
Race for the Cure was huge this year! About the first half mile I was weaving through walkers, I thought I started up far enough but I guess not. Then I took it easy to the finish, I didn't want to push too hard because state is in a week.
Later I did 3 easy miles with my dad |

After the AP test I went on a run on Shoreline with Susannah and Caroline. It felt really good, ahhh...
We did an easy speed workout for track practice. I did 4 200s at 39, 39, 39, 37 and a 400 at 1:25. Then Susannah and I ran to the gully and back for a cooldown. |

Utah State Meet (2 Miles) 00:14:00, Place overall: 19
It was not the best race. I had a strategy that I would stay behind the girl from Murray and push past her when there was 800 left- which I did. She has a really good kick though, and outkicked me at the finish. I should have passed her sooner so I could get some more distance on her, because the first mile felt too easy. But, it's a learning experience. I'm looking forward to xc season! |

I ran up the canyon with my dad and Lisa- it was quite the hill... It was really fun but on the way back down I got a side ache. |

I ran with Susannah, so I pushed a little harder for an easy run than usual. Today was really, really hot. I wore my orthotics and got a little sore toward the end but other than that they were fine, yay! |
