Strength trained for 25 minutes. Then 1 hr 10 min of elliptical hellishness. Not sure how to survive 11 more days ugh

I figure I may as well blog my x-training right?

Lifted yesterday, so today was just cardio. 59 min on the elliptical. I wasn't going to give it the satisfaction of a WHOLE hour of my life  :)

20 min on the step mill. I got my booty kicked on this. Haven't done it in about a year? Crazy sweaty workout. I needed that.

I think I burned about 1050 calories this morning.

I am missing my morning runs very much. I am moved to tears probably twice a day. It's usually if I get near one of the roads on my loops/routes. Or the feel of beautiful sunny weather. But most esp when I see people out running. Like I did this morning on my way to use a silly machine to get my heart rate up :(

Today is day 5 without running. 10 more to go. I can do this.

Strength trained this morning. Fun. Not. (This will be a run on paragraph. Updating via crackberry). Then I did 20 minutes of a speed training setting on the step mill. And 32 minutes hardcore of elliptical hell. Ummmmmm somehow I think this cardio is not helping get my calf better. it hurt afterwards! I'm now contemplating total rest from all cardio. I really think my calf needs complete rest. This sucks! I can't believe this is happening to me.

Heeeeelllp I'm melting! Lack of running is making my legs look smaller lol. Did some crazy wall sits when I first got to Gold's. Then a couple weights machines. Then 60 min elliptical. Got a good sweat! Then a few more weights. Then 12 minutes walking on an incline. Going to the Dr today for my calf. Wish me luck for shizzle. My calf feels a lot better. I just know it needs rest to get back 100%. So sorry for the run on, updating with the crackberry on the run doesn't allow for good paragraphing etc. I just got back from the Dr. Had an x-ray and there is NO FRACTURE! Wahhoooooo!!!! Shin splints and some overuse on the muscles and tissues on the calf. 1-2 more solid weeks off, physical therapy (oh joy) again, and then ease back in every other day running. I am so glad that its nothing super serious. This year marks my 10th year since I began running. It is part of my heart. I run for me. I will be back stronger. I'm determined....

24 minutes elliptical, then 20 minutes step mill. 

Strength training.

 

I ran on my calf today while my kids were playing in the park. I felt nothing. No pain, no limping. Nada. Don't you all worry, I will still wait one more week to make sure it's nice and healed.... I felt the arrow shoot to 10 on the excited ticker. I know this calf will fully heal. I know it.

im so sick of this no running crap. i want to run already. i wander around aimlessly in the gym. today was random weights an 40 min of elliptical hurricane. boring. im so disgruntled ppppffffffffhhhhhtttt
