Ran 6.50 then eliptical for 46 minutes. I really struggled this morning in my run and workout. Energy and umph just was not there. Oh well. I will try again tomorrow.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Tomorrow. On this beautiful planet.

I think you need some bananas and nuts to get your 'umph' back! :) I would still call that a pretty solid workout.

My new pre-run drink is Emergen-C and it seems to make quite a bit of difference. I know a lot of people on this site use it. Have you tried it? I love it. In fact, it might be my new energy drink that I take along with me on runs. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm planning to.

Bananas and nuts > Emergen-C

Just my opinion.

emergen-c = best product ever. it's the runner's elixir.

I have had Emergen-c, but never before a run. I guess I will try this!

LOL Scott.

Gdoc yesterday morning was so breathtaking outside. I was quite observant wasn't I? :)

Hmm I'll have to try the Emergen-c. Is that at GNC or ?

Great job on the workout, Lily. I would have stopped at 45 (actually, probably would have skipped the eliptical all together), but that's just how I roll. I admit it, Lily is stronger than BNS...and I'm OK with that. :-)

Emergen-C can be found at just about any grocery store. I think my wife bought some for me at Fresh Market.
