AM- Monday tempo with the team. I mixed in with Parker and Porter. Then a little with Carson. 7.02 miles

PM- First afternoon run at camp. Headed down the road and a climb back up. Then I ran and circled the lake. It was super muddy after a rain and I slipped right into a puddle. I had to rinse off in the lake after. 5.69 miles

AM- 1 mile warm up by myself. Then a 90 minute run with the top girls. Best run of the week for sure! I ran with Brinley, Pyper, Alli, Jenna, Adri, Emma, Maddy, Kennis, Kyanne, Allison, and Allen. I had one goal, keep the girls together. The run was more downhill on the way out and tougher uphill on the way back. I did my best to motivate and keep the group together. I helped the girls stay focused on the present (something that really helped me too). It was great! I've enjoyed my runs with the girls. It takes more effort on my part to socialize and motivate but it's a good challenge. We started to lose our solid group at around 55 minutes so we did some refocusing. Some refocused, others found excuses. I'm going to remember this run for a while. 11.07 miles

PM- Tired 25 catching up to different groups. 2.59 miles

Hill run with the team. I started with Coach Quinn and the upper JV boys. Then I floated around with different groups and encouraged group running. Found the varsity girls for the turn around and had some good conversations with them and Zack DT. Then I ran back up the road and ran a little with Scottie and Dave. 7.13 miles

I really enjoyed this years camp! I put a lot of effort into being positive and helping kids enjoy themselves! I also dominated KamJam with Coach Quinn (14-1). I was a part of a Cinderella Story volley run with Little B, Nathan B, and JD. We lost in the finals.....but we got revenge on Gabe and Jason for being traitors. I'm excited for the season! I'm positive we will make the best of it!

AM- Started at Tropic Reservoir and headed towards one of the few single track trails in the area (that I’m aware of). There was some good uphill pushing to Keyhole Arch. It wasn’t anything crazy but I had a hard time breathing on the hills. I walked a couple of times. Then I stopped and meditated in the shade. I refocused and continued on without having to walk. Added some mileage after I got back to the reservoir. Swam in a creek to cool off. 9.32 miles

PM- Took Marieta to Keyhole Arch and made a loop out of it back to the ATV. I took off down the road until Marieta picked me up. I pushed hard for half a mile at a sub 6 minute pace. 4.31 miles

AM- Parked at the Podunk Ranger Station. Ran on the main road for 7+ miles scaring cows and saw one buck. Then I took an atv trail and banged my toe on a rock. I worked really hard on not focusing on time or looking at my watch. It helped! Then I made it to the Swapp Canyon Trail where I ran down a single track for a quarter mile. Although I was interested continuing on this trail I was already at 9 miles so I decided to turn around. Trail back was smooth but hard. Then I came within 20 feet of 3 big bucks. I stopped and backed off to see what those big boys were going to do. I watched them for 15 minutes before they crossed a road in front of me. This run was a good mental test for me. It also showed how good my endurance is. I added a little after I got back to my car. 19.04 miles

PM- Went for a hill climb and jog. 1.15 miles
