I went to XC practice for the first time in a while. Its time to get real serious about running! I started out with Holt, Britt, Baker, Willy, Zac, and Fre. I didn't want to go far because of the 10k I have tomorrow so me and Fre turned around at the 2 mile point. I ran real relaxed the whole time until the end me and Jeff really pushed it. It seems like when ever Jeff and I run together we always have a real strong finish, I think it helps. Tomorrows 10k will show what kind of shape I am in.

I didn't have time to go to the bathroom before the race and I really had to go. I started out with my indian brother Shaun Yellowhorse and Scott Finch. My Dad passed me up about a mile into the race. I ran with Shaun and Scott the first 3 miles of the race, then Scott threw a drinking cup at me and after that I couldn't keep up. Dang Scott! I started dying after about 3 1/2 miles. The last 2 miles were really boring and hard! I finished with a time of 37:41, and I beat both of my brothers so I get to keep my big room. After the race Shaun and Scott told me that I have loud feet, and Coach Holt is going to help me fix my form so I don't have loud feet.

I slept over at Zabriskies last night and I woke up and ran from Ryans house to Washington Elementary. It was a good warm up to see how my legs were feeling, the warm up was about 1.7 miles. When we started the real workout it was already way humid and it wasn't getting any better. We ran 5 fire station  hills. I  was proud of how I ran for the first 3. For the last 2 Coach ran with a couple of us. I took these last 2 to another level and ran a lot faster. I was surprised of how well my legs feeling today since I ran a 10k yesterday.

I got up to Pine Valley for my family reunion. No one had really shown up yet so my dad and I went and ran off in the wilderness. It was crazy we were running up hill, down hill, dodging branches and stuff. It was pretty fun!

I played B-ball with all my Cousins and my team was a dynasty! My brother and I were hitting 3's like the Phoenix Suns. After b-ball we were driving back to our cabin and I told my dad to drop me off about 3 miles from the cabin. I ran pretty hard all the way back and was pretty proud of my time, considering I had just played b-ball for 2 1/2 hours.

This morning I went on a run with 2 of my uncles, 3 cousins, and my dad. My dad and I started out with all of them and later left them to get a good run in. We ran on this trail that took us 3 miles down some really steep downhill, which meant turning around and running back was going to suck! It really did suck to run 3 miles out, it was really, really steep. I endured it though. It took forever to run up hill.

Total time: 51.58

Sorry XC team I will be in San Diego till next Saturday but I will still be running.
