| Sick at home, no run. Really sore throats really stink, as do noses that are stuffy yet runny.

| Back to work, but no run yet. Probably tomorrow. Between Monday morning to Wednesday morning, I slept about 24 of the 48 hours. Oofdah. Not sure when I've ever slept that much.

| Lunch- played Ultimate frisbee for the first time since the rib injury. Skills had slipped a bit and I couldn't run quite as much as usual, but still so much fun. If I could play ultimate more and run less, I wouldn't complain. Fun sport.

| AM- went for a nice morning run after a long day yesterday (work then temple means leave before 7 am, home at 10 pm). Getting home was delayed as I wanted to fill the car with gas but multiple stations were out due to a pipeline breaking in Mississippi. It's amazing how our just-in-time society is so dependent on everything working just right. One pipeline leaking results in gas going up 35 cents in a few hours and multiple stations running out of gas. If there were a long time shortage... well, it wouldn't be pretty.
Anyway, today's run was a slow 6 miles- 8:30 avg pace, or so. Lower legs are a bit sore from the running yesterday, plus bad sleep the past few nights (4 hours last night as I was up at 3 am onward due to sick kid). I listened to Dan Carlin's Hardcore History series- amazing podcasts. I'm on the 5th of 6 in the WW1 series, and each one is 4-5 hours long. WW1 is amazing and so sad.
