| AM- same as yesterday, except today I read news on my phone instead of watching TV. I have a bad feeling this Achilles thing is a long term issue. Normally wearing a Strassburg sock for a few days knocks it out, but a week has barely done anything.

| Lunch- ultimate on a great day- mid 60's, no wind. However, there are wildfires in the area making the air very smoky and hazy. Not India bad, of course, but bad. You could even smell it indoors all day. Anyway, my team won the game that counted 5-2.

| Marci and I went to see Pentatonix last night. Fun concert. Good XT today- first time ever burning 600 calories on the bike in under an hour. I had to work pretty hard to do that.

| AM- same. At this point, I just wish I could run, and pain free. Right now, can't even do that.
My wife returns today after a week away. It actually went great with the kids, other than the dog we got a few weeks ago. The dog kept jumping on and hurting the kids. And, it damaged/destroyed probably $1000 worth of stuff (chairs, couches, pillows, shoes, toys, etc). I returned it to the pound today, and it will be a long, long while until I consider getting a dog again.

| No workout today. Feeling under the weather- sore, tired, and painfully sore throat. I actually fell asleep last night at 7:30- not sure if I've ever gone to bed that early. It was even an hour before Marci and the kids got home from Idaho, so I didn't see them till Tuesday. 10.5 or 11 hours sleep.
