Ran outside this morning. It wasn't too cold. Decided not to look at my watch and just run how I felt. Most of my miles were right around 7:25. | Add Comment |

Same route as yesterday, but without the Garmin. It's nice to be outside, but I think it is suppose to snow in the next couple of days, so I'm trying not to get use to it. | Add Comment |

| | 16.48 in 2:20:32 Average pace of 8:32 Ran with Mark. It was like ice skating for the first part. We had to take it pretty slow for a while. We ran towards Alpine. We made it pretty far, up by the Alpine Country Club on the Alpine Highway. The wheels came off a bit during the last 2.5 miles. We ended up walking and jogging quite a bit. | Comments(1) |

6.0 on the TM
Felt pretty good today. Was pretty sore yesterday, but I don't think it was from the long run on Saturday. The basketball and weight lifting are what kill me. | Add Comment |

I'm not entirely sure this is the mileage for today because I was stuck on the track at the gym. None of the treadmills were opening up. | Comments(1) |

| | I'll call it 4.5 miles today. I couldn't get a treadmill at first, so I had to run around the track for a bit. Then I did about 4.10 on the treadmill. | Add Comment |

One of my best runs on the treadmill. I ended up talking to the person next to me for almost the entire run. It made things go by so fast, and it helped me forget about the faster pace I was going. | Add Comment |
| | 20.03 at 8:19 mile/minute pace. First 17 miles were pretty good. I was clipping along at a 8:00 pace for the first 17, and then the wheels fell off a bit. I probably should have stuck with 18 or so, but it feels good to have pushed myself pretty good. Will play b-ball and lift later today.

Signed up for the Olathe, KS marathon which is on March 28. It is right outside Kansas City and I'll be running with two brothers. The plan is to take it easy and for this marathon and stick with my brother Steve, since this is his first one. | Comments(1) |

Tried to slow things down today, and will do the same tomorrow and maybe even Saturday. My body has not responded well to the 20 mile run last Saturday. Lots of soreness and pain. | Add Comment |
