Hey...morning run...crispy Jonagold apple run in the briskness. Felt like my butt was huge on the uphill first mile. Was good to get the momentum on the downhill. Slowish but steadyish.

Pipeline extravaganza. well not really an extravaganza but a really fun run nonetheless ,... one of those trail days where the views on the trail were fantastic because the snow was fun and new and no one on the trail.. bit slippery but not bad

Pipeline up from birch hollow in about 10 new inches of snow. Beautiful. Sucked out the energy at mile 2 as was somewhat blazing trail from 1.5 on...and i was hungry...sweeet day. Microspikes worked great...just tore up my medial malleolus as usual...will need to try the rivets. I think the microspikes may be better for the softish snow that needs a deeper more substantial traction.. but I will try the other and see.

Wonderful run day. Pipeline trail again from birch hollow to overlook and back. 15 degrees at the start but beautiful sunny day. Shorts though. Im finding that shorts are fine even if super cold as long as not windy. too late afterwork to go skiing so this was a great way to spend 90 minutes. Brain cleanser. couple other runners on the trail. afterwords soak in the hot tub and then 3rd night of some Lord of the Rings marathon with son Will. Awesome stuff.

My Garmin is officially gone to its grave. Not responsive to soft or hard reset or hammer pounding or praying or sacrifice of poultry. Need to get new one...now just need to decide which one. Out and back to Porcupine grill. Felt post Christmasy

Garmin still in the grave. Went to run on Pipeline but it was like Disneyland with crowds...so just did a jaunt around Oly High and back. Felt good.
