Sweet run Sardine Loop with Oreo.  First time on this trail for me.  Fantastic sections with great views of Snowbasin and then overlook over Pine View.  Loved this trail.  Stinking hot day partially because we did this one at noon and Oreo was putting the hammer down.  Just what I needed.

Was 102 degrees this afternoon so drove to Big Water up Millcreek...still 81, but that was sweet comparatively.  Headed up and out to Dog Lake.  As long as I kept a motivated pace I wasnt eaten alive by the swarms of flies up there...but the scenery was beautiful and no one was at the Lake when I got there... thats a first for me.  Jog back down...enjoyed it mucho gracious...

Started at Big Water lower parking lot and ran up to Dog Lake, then looped to Desolation Lake then back along the Great Western trail.  This is a great loop which I have done one time before and was thinking it was only 9.5 miles.  Psych...it was 12.5.  I'm undertrained to push this but was beautiful scenery and bonus was no mountain bikes as it is odd number day.  Lots of hikers to Dog lake but no one the middle 8 miles except one lone geezer mountain runner who looked fresh as a daisy and would kick my trash.

Pavement miles on an old sweetie from my past to Cottonwood Offices and back.  Sore quads and butt from trail run two days ago.  Got to get back in some shape.
