avg 8:15   Happy to be 40 and virile... oh wait a minute.  Looking forward to hanging with the bros in Phoenix for rock and roll half.  Do we need to make any arrangements for fri and sat amusement?

This was a beast, but a fun one.  Brother Nick said we would try something new, but didn't give any other info.  Soon enough I found myself on a trail going up one of the beautiful mountains in Huntsville and making my way to the top of North Ogden divide.  I'm glad I didnt know where his destination was or I mentally would have pussed out a bit.  Anyway the pace was slow due to me but a great mix of up and down and great scenery.  Wish you could have been there velveeta.  1:40.  Thanks bro for the hospitality and pancakes.

I went on a late afternoon run as soon as I could break out of hospital.  Didn't feel great, but never do on evening runs.  I did however have a nice lady pull by me and tell me she knew it was me because of my bowlegged gait.  haha havn't been told that in 20 years.

Ran in a delightful blizzard this am.  The whole way in 2 to 4 inches of snow.  Had some cool shades/goggles on until mile 3 when I just couldnt see anymore.  Maybe I'll just take up snowshoeing. avg 8:50

Cold blustery morning and hard headwind, slipping in the snow and chewing on my numb screw in dental implant while my perpetual snot running nose was in full force.  Great run.  avg 8:19

avg 8:15  Cold Sloshy Painful, but able to get my goal of at least 10 per week.  Even though this is at the bottom of the blog totals, trust me, this is good for coffin boy

did the big titty loop in a slushy cold wet snowy midmorning run.  slow and slippery at almost 9 minute mile avg, total 1:20:30ish.  Easy breathing run with frozen butt cheeks.  It's interesting that I enjoy these long runs so much.  It's either a reflection on the general dissatisfaction I have with the boringitude in my general life or it actually does something mentalphysically to me that is somewhat of a high, or it is purely the desire to cause pain to myself or...  the other interesting thing is that I feel that I should somehow be congratulated when I finish one, but part of me knows that by in large there are few who appreciate the mental stuffing this takes to do when limited by the inherent wussitudes of life imprinted in my DNA.

Last run of the year.  Nice sunny day here in Salt Lake.  Uneventful run, avg 8:11.  Thinking about what treats I want tonight for new years eve.  Still thinking.
