Ran around the Holladay benches.  avg. 8:33 with some hills that were close to 9:00.  my new strategy is to overall take it a bit easier on these runs.  I am only so fast anyway so why not feel a little better.  This may help me want to run more in the long haul.  Nick is wussing out of Phoenix so I am still trying to make it work.  I am on call that Friday and am trying to get it off.

Nice postcall run.  Started out and finished slow.  However it is a beautiful day.  I am definitely not looking forward to winter, so after our weekend snowfall, this was nice.  avg: 8:42

Amazing race given the locale and event in conjuction with the XTERRA world championship race happening the next day.  Ran with brother Nick in the race and my wife running the 5K.  This race really was more like 11 plus K.  Felt good.  Started out slow because I knew the first 3 miles was mostly uphill.  Accomplished my goal of finishing in the top half  (approx 230 runners) and more importantly never stopping running even on the long stretch of Big Beach sand running.  The last two miles I followed a very fit 45 to 50 year old aussie woman.  I just wanted to keep up with her so she gave me some extra push.  I loved this run.

Great humid Hawaii air run this morning with Nick along the Wailea beach walk and then up near the Wailea golf course.  Felt good overall.   Not really sore from the race.  Maybe I didn't push it hard enough.  Or maybe its the healing properties of the island air.  Another day in paradise.  avg 8:53

Last run in Maui.  Great times.  I like the lower elevation.  Still was struggling though because of the hotness.
