Pipeline up from birch hollow in about 10 new inches of snow. Beautiful. Sucked out the energy at mile 2 as was somewhat blazing trail from 1.5 on...and i was hungry...sweeet day. Microspikes worked great...just tore up my medial malleolus as usual...will need to try the rivets. I think the microspikes may be better for the softish snow that needs a deeper more substantial traction.. but I will try the other and see. |
