| Wow. What a tough day. 1400 ft of elevation change on a day that temperatures were supposed to near 100 degrees. For me 62 degrees at start line, 90 degrees by the finish. I noticed going down the back side of the big hill really did a number on my legs. legs started twitching about 12 miles in, but I was able to hold off any cramping by taking on fluids and electrolites until they were gone. There were water stations every couple of miles. By mile 17 there was some walking involved. Last couple of miles I was cramping pretty bad. Overall, a good day. Just tough.
