Today's run put the Landreth at 600 miles, should have retired the shoes a long time ago.  Anyway ran up the La Verkin Twist Trail and got up on top and then ran down to the Virgin River and came out at Pah Tempe.  A nice 9 mile run with some good hills and some slow parts climbing over rocks and around trees.  I had to cross the river and it was kind of interesting, just due to the fact we've had a lot of rain and the river was running a lot faster than usual and I was actually a little concerned where to cross.  I eventually found a place where the water wasn't running as fast.  I threw my ipod and garmin across to the other side in case the water was deeper than I was expecting.  In the end the water only came up to my waist so no swimming needed.  Anyway good run and good way to start off the week.  Starting to get nervous about the marathon.

Did a 2 mile run with Sunny down to the cow field and back home.  Then did 35 minutes on the exercise bike.  I watched the ESPN 30 for 30 series Straight Out of L.A.

Basketball this morning 3 on 3 full court.

This evening I ran up to McKell's and then over to Hurricane City Park and then back via Main Street, extended over to Maverik in La Verkin to make it 6.  Nice evening for a run, cooler temps and a little bit of rain.

 2 mile warm-up

Did 5 x 1000m at the cow field.  I tried to measure out the distance exactly but kept having issues with the Garmin coming up exactly every 400 m split.  By the 3rd repeat I finally settled on a finishing spot that seemed the most accurate, now I just need to go back a mark it.

1 mile cool-down

For some reason I never really felt like I got going in this workout.  Each repeat just seemed like a struggle

18 miles down the course started at the top of Veyo.  I actually felt pretty good, took it easy the first 4 and then a good push until I hit town.  I struggled some once I got into town, but still finished in 2:11:08 (7:18 pace)  I would have been closer to 7:00 but like I said struggled the last 3.
