Just an easy 3 miles tonight, not feeling too great after the relay.  I'm going to have to ease into the week.

A nice 8 miles total tonight. I ran over to Dairy Queen and used the bathroom there then stopped in at Classic Sports and tried on a pair of basketball shoes, then turned around and ran home.  I felt pretty good tonight, legs not as sore as yesterday.

Basketball this morning.  Ran an easy 5 miles this evening down through Confluence Park.  I didn't feel as good today as I did yesterday.

2 mile warm-up then did 4 x 1000m repeats with 2:00 minutes recovery

1-3:27 Felt pretty good

2-3:27 Still feeling good

3-3:28 Not bad, got a drink after this repeat, big mistake

4-3:36- Stomach cramping and not feeling good.

2 mile cool-down.  I was going to do 5 repeats, but was really hurting after the 4th so called it a day.

What started out as a really good run, turned very bad around mile 10.  I didn't make it over to run with the club, so I decided I would drive my truck up to Springdale and then run home which would be a good 19 mile run.  The only problem is I forgot how far 19 miles is. I started off feeling really good and ran the first 10 miles just under 7:00 pace.  I started really struggling the next two miles and barely made it to Virgin, where I had dropped a bottle of water.  From Virgin it basically turned into a walk/jog/walk the rest of the way home.  My legs were just dead and kept cramping up. Anyway, after today I'm having second thoughts about the Utah Valley Marathon, considering switching just to the half.  I guess the one good thing was the fact I burned over 2700 calories and lost about 5 pounds on the adventure.
