planned on running 7 today but by 2.5 miles I could feel my left calf starting to twinge. I turned around at 3. I was working hard to not go too ahrd at the start but really wanted tos ee how much I could push the last 2 miles. however, by that time the calf was angry at me and twinged each time I tried to pick up the pace. total running time 56:03. splits 9:23, 9:27, 9:24, 9:17, 9:16, 9:16. I stopped during the last mile to stretch the calf out. It is really bothering me now. |
