| My longish run this morning. Ran down the SGM course to home. Running didn't seem to hurt but walking was painful. I did some skipping and that helped my walking. I need to strengthen and stretch my legs more.

| I did it!! I had 3 goals for today: 1st... survive (not die), 2nd... finish, and 3rd... finish under 5 hours. What a good time I had! I really didn't think I could finish today.
I ran the first half non-stop and had a time of 1:58. Right after the half way mark I started my first walk. I wasn't tired but I was making sure my body didn't decided to shut down later on in the race.
At mile 18, I saw a little girl holding up a soda bottle. It was my 4 yr old granddaughter, Dani. YES!!! and it was diet dr pepper and a cookie. After that wonderful time with my sweet sweet dani, I continued on. Then again, at mile 21 a little girl holding a soda bottle up in the air!! And then again at mile 22, my sweetie hold a bottle of diet DP and a cookie.
I finished strong and with an unbelieveable finish time for my condition. My body feels great after one week!! I went for a short run today. I'm okay!!

| More swimming, walking and hiking. I met two Spotted Eagle Rays way out there in the water. They circled me for a while and I dove down to circle around them. They were not bothered by m presence. Then I had a crazy notion to grab onto the back of one and have it tow me around. Right when I go within 5 ft of one, the memory of Steve Irwin hit me, and I stopped. Bye bye Ray!! I looked it up afterwards. These rays can kill too with their tails.

| Today I walked across the island. Half way across I wandered through the French side of Marigot. I then saw the highest peak (434 m) after that city and I climbed it too. Hooray Pic Paradis!!
The locals thought I was nutty to cross the island and then walk back!! HAHA!! It wasn't that much walking. Maybe 15-16 miles total.
