Second run in the new racing shoes and I love them. If they're this nice in two weeks then I will probably buy a couple more pairs. I was feeling really lame yesterday (sore and uncomfortable) and I was planning on scrapping this workout and running at a light pace on the treadmill in case my ankle gave me trouble. After a few minutes, I decided I felt okay enough to attempt the workout and it turned out to be a great experience!

Hey Tom!

Sorry for the late response. I've been trying to find a time to respond. I'm excited for the race, and I think tapering is going well. So I think I'm ready. Race day will say whether that's the case or not though. My prediction is that I'll be able to get under 3:05 again. My A goal, however, is to get under 3:00, and that is what I need for a BQ. Here's to hoping! Are you excited for your upcoming marathon? You really pack in those long runs!
