I have ran three marathons. SGM in 2005, Ogden in 2006, and SGM 2006. My best time in a marathon is Ut. Valley Marathon 3:59:46. I have ran seven half marathons, some 10k's and 5k"s. My favorite marathon is SGM.I have ran 13 Marathons, will be during my first Ultra in march of 2013, it will be the Antalope Island Buffalo Run, a 50k.
2008 SGM PR 4:02:23 The best is yet to come. Short-Term Running Goals: Short term running goal is to increase my four days a week of running to five to six days a week. Do more speed work this coming year. Bring my times down. I would like to do SGM in 4 hrs or less. Long-Term Running Goals: Keep up with my Brother Clay in a marathon, someday do a sub four hour marathon, and BQ. Personal: I have been married for 34Years, and am still madly in love with my wife Wendy. I have four children and six Grand children.

| 102' degrees for my run today, I did a golf course loop and it was a hot one. By the time I made the loop I was feeling pretty dead. Still a great run and enjoyed it very much. |

| 98' degrees and 7.25 miles of brutal heat. Wow I could not,keep enough liquids in me. The last mile or so my legs were toast. Enjoyed the run though and it is always great to get for a jog. |

| Not as hot today but more muggieness to the air, I did the extended golf course loop. I was all whacked out by the time I made the turn for home, got it done though. |

| Nice run this morning out past mini gu corner and back, very muggy which made for a real good sweat. My legs and body this has just felt on the whack side, I know it's because of the heat and it will take some time for my old body to get used to it. I did see a Deer running next to the road running in the alfalfa fields, it was cool he was just snorting away at me and running crazy in circles. So far it has been a great week of training,mi will take tomorrow off and do a long run early Saturday morning. See you then. |

| Nice long run this morning with my son Bryan, we did usual Saturday morning up over Harry's hill, up over the round about to loafer canyon road. We came out by the canal and headed for home. Met up with my Brother Clay, Pat, Hal, chad, Tom. Clay decided he want to sprint the last eighth mile and it was all I could do to keep up. Hope I did'nt hurt hi,. It has been a great week of training, the legs are starting to feel good again after last months marathon. I finding it takes about a month for me to get my mojo back after one of those crazy things. |
