Trails!

Another day in D-land!  

8 miles around Red Rocks near Las Vegas.  On our way home and I went for a run while the family hiked around taking pics.  Awesome place to run!

Ran from the Visitor's Center and went on the Grand Circle Adventure.  I went past the Calico Hills trail, past sandstone quarry, white rock springs, and finished at the Lost Creek Trailhead.

AM: Slept in Mesquite on our way home.  Got up early to go for a quick run (8 miles).  Took a road out of Mesquite and found a dry wash to run in.  I followed an atv trail for a few miles then turned back.  Lots of sand and rocks.  Sure beats the roads.  Traveled the rest of the way home then got out for another run to shake out the drive (and have fun).

River Trail in the rain with Mike.  The trail was literally a river today.  Lots of water falling from the sky.  Legs were sufficiently muddy.

Long Run (20) with Joe - 

I mile on BST waiting for Joe then route was as follows.  North BST from King Park to Eagle Ridge then over to Sky View hill then over to Smithfield Dry and up that canyon until the snow got too deep.  Headed back sticking to the regular BST route.  Lots of mud and snow and super tired legs made for some slow running.  Absolutely dead now!
