B-hills/ River Road loop. Ok run. After a horrible week last week I'm hoping for a solid running week now. I've got a lot to work out with the stride and junk in the lungs. So I just took it EZ this morning and tried to keep the form straight.

6.6 miles around the middle B-hills loop this evening. Legs felt pretty dang good:) Left ankle felt kind of sore for some random reason but mid run it started to feel fine.

River Road/ B-hills in reverse this morning. Nice morning to run and watch the sun come up. Legs felt good.

6 miles this afternoon pushing Myler.  Nice warm temps made it great to be outside. Legs kind of gave up with a mile left and for some reason just wanted to be done.

Regular B-hills/River road loop. My IT band was really sore and made me have a hop or limp for the first half mile and then it just went away. Weird. I guess I'm just too old for this stuff. Ran smooth and EZ hitting a 7 min avg.

3 miles on the treadmill at noon while Myler was taking a nap. Temps outside are around 70 F but the wind is howling.

B-hills/ River road loop. IT band was sore again when I started to run but within a half mile I never felt it again. Should I be worried or what? Not sure what that is all about. Other than that the legs felt really good and it was a super morning out after it was so windy and crazy last night.

9.3 mile club run tonight at the DC. We ran the new normal river loop with no add ons. I didn't have my Garmin but the pace was brisk. I hit the first 1.7 at a tempo to speed ahead of the guys and get to the porta potty. Always a great stop!

B-hills/ River road loop again... I don't love this loop but I do like the distance. It's nice to just go out and not have to think about where I'll go to get the mileage I need. Plus I don't like wearing a garmin everyday.

The run started out the way the last few days have. With a sore IT band and me limping along for about a half mile. Then it just works it's self out. I did use the foam roller last night but it even kind of hurt while I was in bed sleeping. Hopefully it's nothing serious because I don't have the right mind to fight off another injury.

Big workout in the rain. That could be the title of a one hit wonder song. We met at the DC at 7 a.m and got rained on basically the entire run. Logan's plan was to do 6x 5 min at MP or whatever we could push out. With a 2 min recovery in between. So we ran around 8 miles and then started the workout part. I only wanted to hit MP (5:40) and nothing faster because I just felt flat and still semi jacked from sickness... but the lads took it out hard every go around and all my splits were under a 5:30 avg... and those guys were 5-10 seconds ahead of me on most sets. So happy with the workout even though it was hard and wet and cold. Then we had around a 3.5 mile cool down back to the DC.
