Married, we have one daughter so far. I ran for Alta high school and was trained by Rob Murphy, he is a great coach, one of the best there is. I also ran for Southern Utah University.

2 mile warm up and then 2x2 miles at goal HM pace. It went pretty well, I ran 6:01, 6:03 for the first rep. Then I walked for a little before doing an easy mile between reps. 2nd w mile went well too, 6:01 and then 6:04. The pace was less smooth and consistent than I'd like it to be during the workout, but I'm pretty happy with the end result.

I walk/ran a little over a mile to cooldown. I'm happy with todays workout but also not super confident I could hang on to that pace for a 10k quite yet.

You might surprise yourself. The 10k is tough, so 10k race pace is not something you don't do for super. long efforts. 2 x 2 miles is probably good indicator depending on rest (but we could ask the man, the myth, the legend, Mr. Murphy).

For a half marathon my favorite indicator workout is 4 x 2 miles at goal pace with 3-4 minutes jog + warm up and cool down. I'm not sure what the 10k equivalent is.
