Day off from running. Then tomorrow I start looking for a
job. I do know that "if God brings you too it; He will bring you through
it." I am not mad at loosing my job just upset the way they did it.
Anyway, thanks for reading and have a great day and week!

There were a lot of people there, I am thinking around 200.
The race started good a little windy, but nothing too bad. My pace in the
beginning was around 5:30 minutes
per mile and after looking at that I decided that I needed to slow down. When I
race I try to run my last mile faster than my first that helps me from going to
fast in the beginning. But I was feeling good and wanted to push it a
little. So I took a risk and tried to keep my per mile pace around 6.00. It was
funny I passed this high school kid and the guy behind me told him not to let
me pass. But I passed and I was able to gain a little on him. And that same kid
caught back up with me and passed me, but he timed it wrong and I was able to
use him as a shield from the wind. I am not sure if that was that cheating, but
that is what happened. The first place finisher was a BYU college student and
there were a lot of High school students. I am happy with the race. My per
miles average was 6:03 and that is a
PR for me. After the race my wife told me what happened when I was running into
the finish line. She said that the announcer was saying "I know this
person and that person up to me and when he seen me coming in he said that he
did not know me and that we should cheer me in." I guess the way he said it
was really funny. Thanks for reading and have a great day…
