Was a great weekend with pain and suffering.

Friday night I worked at the Brandin Iron where I enjoyed my pre-game pasta dinner.  Saturday morning was chilly - just right.  Unloaded my jacket and gloves after a mile and just flat enjoyed the tailwind.

I don't have a bunch to say about this year but I was able to enjoy visiting with many friends.  I ran with Jeff and Jon until Jeff dropped off at mile 14.   Thought he would find us later but never did catch us.  Jon and I ended up running together to the finish.  It was nice to have a friend for the last half.

My foot flared up about half way and that caused me to have sharp pain on each step.  That wasn't too much fun at all.  I was happy to have that done and be able to get off my feet.  Oh wait, never mind, I went to work at the Brandin Iron.

Highlights include:  Chocolate milk and pepsi at Dameron Valley (thanks Louise), DMD at mile 19 aid station, gagging and throwing up after choking on an ibuprofen mile 20, running with CJ for .1 miles on bluff street, coke at Ipson's on diagonal, watching Jon run with his little guy at the Tabernacle, finishing and enjoying some icecream, AND all the "hey"s  from all the familiar faces at aid stations, runners and the crowd!

Overall it was a good day.  I can still walk so that's good news.  I just need to find out how to get rid of this foot issue so that running would be more enjoyable.
