Warm- up...just guessing on mileage... did 6 400s at a pretty slow pace... we were aiming for 1:40 s but I think it went something like this:

| Warmed up, then saw how far we could run in six minutes. I just finished a mile and my time was 6:13, which I guess isn't bad for not being consistent in training. Then did our XC work out thing. | Add Comment |

| Ran to Turtle Bay Resort with Aaron. It took about an hour. It was kind of a random decision, so we had no way to get home, but the nice concierge lady gave us a ride. Felt pretty good! | Add Comment |

| Ran on the treadmill. Went from 8 mph to 8.6 mph to 8 again, then just random speeds slower than that for the last mile. It felt good getting my legs going. | Comments(3) |

| Warm up 3 laps around soccer field. Added .25 mi for running in between field and hale. Did 10 400s. Aiming for 1:30s or 1:35s or something... these were my times. 1- 1:29 2-1:28 3- 1:28 4- 1:29 5- 1:31 6- 1:36 7- 1:33 8- 1:31 9- 1:37 10- 1:30 I got a bad headache and started feeling my lunch after the first four. It was really hard but I'm glad I got all 10 done. I think those times are about right but they may not be.

| I was planning on running to Tamura's and back but ended up going 6 miles out instead of 2.5. I think I needed some new surroundings for my run so it was nice because I haven't gone that far before. I made it to the Punalu'u sign like I wanted, lamented a bit for having gone so far, then ran back. I stopped a lot because I didn't prepare mentally. There were also a lot of easter events going on so I stopped and looked around at those. | Comments(2) |

Getting fat and lazy again. Today I ran the 5k time trial course, then rested in my hale for about 5 or 10 minutes, then ran Laie park loop. It was hard because I have been lazy. It was also hot and sunny and moderately windy. Good run overall, glad I did it. | Comments(2) |

XC practice today. Warmed up then did 5 400s and 3 600s. Was supposed to be aiming for 1:35 on the 400s and 2:22 on the 600s.

I ran a last 200 to help Amanda run in faster. She's dang fast. I didn't make 2:22s on the 600s, I was tired and yes, out of shape, and I kind of half gave up. I can do a lot better but I am glad I got some good repeats in today. | Comments(1) |
