| | pm--9 Long Run w/ 8x striders. We ran up Main Street and up through Green Springs. The temperature was measurably better than the last 2 weeks. Once again, we had a good group. There is a great feeling w/ these girls (and boys) this year. RHR--52.

| | am--5 DI in reverse/AC+. Good run on tired legs this morning. Although yesterday afternoon was cooler than we've seen for a while, this morning was still pretty warm. Good news is the 60-degree mornings are coming. RHR--50.
pm--3 Setting up and taking down the course for the Dixie Meet. It was fun to see our kids run well and have the focus on some other kids today.

| | am--5 DI/AC. A decent run w/ some scaries stories to boot. Of course, they are "true" stories. The past day or two, I feel like I just can't get enough sleep. I'm feeling beat down. We'll see how that plays out. RHR--54.
pm--4.5 Sandhill workout for the kids. I drove the ice chest up and ran down to meet them. After, I dropped the box off and ran up to meet them. I love how well these kids get along.

| | am--5.5 DI/End of the wall. Decent run. The legs are in some kind of no man's land, not quite tired but not peppy either. We have the run-a-thon tonight. I hope this old man can handle staying up. RHR--52.
pm(late)--3 Some miles around the track at the run-a-thon. Kids seemed to have fun.

| | pm--7 Mid-distance run w/ 6x 1 min. pick-ups and 8x striders. I wasn't sure how far my legs would take me, but after 5 miles I was still feeling good. Decided to go for the 50-mile week. The pick-ups and striders felt great. The long weekend will be good.
